.1.Indianapolis Colts11-0Keeping the dream alive for an undefeated season.
.2.Denver Broncos9-2Managed to squeak out a win even though Plummer threw his first interception since September 18th.
.3.Seattle Seahawks9-2Overtime win over the Giants makes them the front runner for home feld advantage in the NFC.
.12.Chicago Bears8-3Defense continued to dominate despite giving up their first touchown in 39 opponent possessions.
.5.Jacksonville Jaguars8-3Leftwich's broken ankle is obviously a concern. The easy remaining schedule should help Garrard.
.8.Carolina Panthers8-3Will try to get the running game on track by turning to Foster.
.9.Cincinnati Bengals8-3Can take control of the AFC North next week in Pittsburgh.
.10.San Diego Chargers7-4Tomlinson refused to let his team lose.
.4.Dallas Cowboys7-4Getting beat on Thanksgiving in overtime by Dayne has to be hard for Parcells to stomach.
.6.Pittsburgh Steelers7-4Undermined by their own conservative playcalling in the first half against the Colts. Ran on almost every first and second down. No play action. Put Roethlisberger in third and long repeatedly. Never tried to stretch the field. Played right into the hands of the defense. Then suddenly threw caution to the wind with the failed onside kick attempt to start the second half and never recovered. The decision making was mind boggling. Need to rebound quicky from consecutive losses with the Bengals coming to town.
.11.New York Giants7-4Feely missed 3 game winning field goal attempts to cost them sole possession of first place in the NFC East.
.14.Atlanta Falcons7-4Won for the 7th time in 8 games when Vick failed to throw for 200 yards. Only 1-3 when Vick (or Schaub) gets over 200 yards passing.
.15.Kansas City Chiefs7-4Hard to envision them making a playoff run with the Broncos, Cowboys, Giants, Chargers and Bengals left on the schedule.
.13.Tampa Bay Buccaneers7-4Torpedoed by a lost fumble on their first possession and a missed 29 yard field goal on their next to last possession.
.7.New England Patriots6-5Even Belicheck needs some talent to make his defense work.
.16.Minnesota Vikings6-5Have now won 4 straight and gotten back into playoff contention with Johnson behind center.
.19.Philadelphia Eagles5-6Westbrook finally got over 20 carries in a game and topped the century mark on the ground for the first time this season.
.20.St. Louis Rams5-6Avoided the embarrasment of losing in Houston thanks in large part to rookie 7th round Harvard graduate Fitzpatrick's 310 yards passing and 3 touchdowns.
.17.Oakland Raiders4-7Turner could be the next coach to go.
.18.Washington Redskins5-6Blew a 4th quarter lead for the 3rd consecutive week. Defeated by a coach fired by Snyder for the 2nd consecutive week.
.26.Miami Dolphins4-7Still on the fringes of contention in the worst division in the league.
.21.Baltimore Ravens3-8Victory over the Steelers seems like their last gasp.
.22.Cleveland Browns4-7Droughns is only 59 yards away from becoming the franchise's first 1000 yard rusher since Mack in '85.
.28.Tennessee Titans3-8Henry overcame early season injuries and a substance abuse related suspension to finally contribute.
.23.Arizona Cardinals3-8Lack of discipline and composure has resulted in 23 penalties against in the last 2 weeks.
.24.Buffalo Bills4-7Not progressing as expected with Donahoe and Mullarkey in charge.
.25.Detriot Lions4-7Rumblings that Mariucci would be fired immediately after the Thanksgiving day debacle finally came to fruition on Monday. Jauron takes over as interim coach. How Millen keeps his job remains a mystery.
.31.New Orleans Saints3-8Won on their second try in the Meadowlands. The victory over the Jets was officially an away game. The early season loss to the Giants was officially a home game in the wake of hurricane Katrina.
.27.Green Bay Packers2-9When does Rodgers get some reps at QB?
.29.New York Jets2-9Bollinger provided a spark even in defeat with a 107.9 quarterback rating.
.30.San Fransisco 49ers2-9Long term success is tied to the development of Smith.
.32.Houston Texans1-10Stayed ahead in the race for the top pick in the draft by blowing a 21 point halftime lead and a 10 point lead with 34 seconds remaining.
