Hard Hat Award (Game #4, @ San Diego)

No one is the winner of the weekly Hard Hat Award, given to the Stiller player who best embodies the iron-tough, hard-as-steel attitude of the steel workers inside the blast furnace of a still mill.

In a game in which the Stillers were up 10-0 in the 2Q and then 13-7 at the half, the entire squad basically mailed it in after intermission.  The Chargers scored on their final 5 (five) possessions, meaning there wasn't a whole lot of Hard Hat type of play on that side of the ball.  Offensively, the Stiller O-line got their collective asses whipped, and none of the skill players stepped up to lead the way.  And, as usual, the special teams were nothing more than a special group of negative production and softness.

Overall, you typically get whipped when you have nobody that even remotely emulates the standards of the Hard Hat Award.  Typically, no Hard Hat style of play means no "W" in the win-loss column.

Kudos to nobody for winning the Hard Hat Award.  Dont wear the Hard Hat proudly, gentlemen.
