Thanksgiving Edition

Steelers-Browns:

Was stuck a bit yesterday, my friends.� Was my daughter�s 17^th birthday, the Pats� fans in-laws (�very casual Pats fans, but that phraseology is redundant) invaded my house.� I�d already determined that I�d tape the Steelers, watch after these nimrods left the house�.but then said nimrods wanted to watch the Pats.� Of course, I was taping on the main tube.� I gave them the ancillary tube on several conditions:

1. It would be shielded from my view
2. There would be no sound
3. They better shut the fuck up about the Steeler score

So, after all this, my one brother-in-law hardly watches the shit�I do make them watch Steelers Nation with me, so that they can better understand my foibles, and they they�finally�hit the fuckin� road.� Get this!!� No sooner does this happen, and I�m getting ready to watch Steelers-Browns, then we get hit with a power outage.� Thank the Good Lord, or whoever his IT person might be, that this did not happen during Steelers-Browns.� Anyway, the outage goes on for four fuckin� hours.� I was bullshit�.waiting�.waiting�..waiting.� Finally, power is restored, the rest of the family vacates to the 2^nd floor�..finally�..Steelers-Browns.

A few thoughts now from that game:

a.� Do you realized that was the 3^rd game this year (Jax, Oakland being the others) where the defense surrendered no TDs�..and would have been the 3^rd loss were it not for the heroics of Ben, et al.

b.� Yesterday�s game provides the best evidence that Ben is God.� Plays like shit for 3 quarters, then he comes up biiiiiiiig.

c.� I�ll be forever indebted to Ced Wilson for taking out Rodney Harrison, but the guy�s just not accomplished enough�.drops balls, doesn�t get his feet in bounds, etc.

d.� Said it after last year�s Cleve game�.FWP is a much tougher little motherfucker than he�s given credit for.� The guys plays hard�.every fuckin� play!!

e.� Santonio�.finally playing off.

f.�� I love Fat Casey

g.� What about Polamalu�s 3 consecutive plays when we�re down 20-17, needing a stop.

I�m Thankful for:

1. My team still being alive on Turkey Week�.would really suck to be out of it by Thanksgiving.
2. My fantasies (yeah, those too�.but I mean football fantasies) that bring us to sundown on Sunday, December 10^th.� In the intervening time period, the Pittsburgh Steelers will have defeated the division-leading Ravens, and then win two home games versus Tampa Bay & Cleveland.� The Ravens, meanwhile, lose said game to the Steelers, then collapse two weeks consecutively on the road�losing to Cinci & KC.
3. My recurring San Diego dream�
4. ��just call me.�

I�d be more Thankful for:

1.       A broken leg for Steve McNair this Sunday

2.       East Coast vacuum tanks

I�m decidedly unthankful for:

1.       Vehicles larger than mine

2.       Broccoli on pizza

3.       People who take their good old time at the ATM
