Gus Bradley managed to both cover and get fired blowing a 12 point lead with under 16 minutes remaining to a team playing Tom Savage at QB. Chargers tried hard to screw me a second time as a home dog against a divisional opponent. I lost with the Broncos against them back in week 5. At least the Raiders manage a push late. Only Bill Belichick, Tom Brady and the Patriots saved me from a winless week. Depressing.
A pair of underdogs this week. I think that is more (or maybe the same number of) dogs that I have taken all season. Happy Holidays!

Best Bet
Chicago Bears (+3) over Washington Redskins
The Bears have been playing better with Matt Barkley replacing injured, overrated Jay Cutler. The emergence of Jordan Howard has also obviously helped. The Redskins are in a tough spot on the road after a short work week and depressing home loss that severely hampered their playoff chances.
Others
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3) over New Orleans Saints
The Saints have a lot of trouble stringing together good performance. Plus don't forget they gave up 41 points last week despite winning in Arizona. The playoff contending Bucs defense is unlikely to give up 48 points after losing a heart breaker in Dallas.
New York Giants (-2.5) over Philadelphia Eagles
Home teams usually dominate on Thursday nights, but Philadelphia is less than 100 miles from NYC so the dynamic here is a bit different. The Giants are red hot with their only loss in the last nine weeks occurring in Pittsburgh. The Eagles meanwhile have lost seven of their last eight including a five point loss to the Giants in the Meadowlands.
Last Week
Houston Texans (-6) over Jacksonville Jaguars LOSS
New England Patriots (-3) over Denver Broncos WIN
Oakland Raiders (-3) over San Diego Chargers PUSH
