Logan Wins Weekly Hard Hat Award (Game #6, vs. Indy)

Stiller DB Mike Logan is the winner of our weekly Hard Hat Award, given to the Stiller player who best embodies the iron-tough, hard-as-steel attitude of the steel workers inside the blast furnace of a still mill.

Logan was a key contributor in holding the potent Colt offense to just 10 points ion Monday night.Logan was 2nd on the team with 8 tackles, despite not being in the starting lineup.Whatever the team asked Logie to do on Monday night, he did with aplomb and effectiveness. He tackled crisply. He covered well. When asked to blitz amidst the big boys, he bolted head first with no concern for his health or welfare.Aaron Smith's sack, in fact, was directly attributable to Logan, who came flying in on a blitz and caused Manning to pull the ball down and step aside.Logie also had a crisp tackle on special teams. And, lest we forget, Logan had the defense's biggest play of the evening. With Indy on a nice march and poised to close the 21-10 gap, Logan read Manning and then leapt and snared the pass, then returned it 46 yards.Logan's adroit play not only snuffed the Colts' drive, but enabled the Stillers to pound the nail in the coffin with a TD a few plays later.

Kudos to Mike for winning the weekly Hard Hat Award.Wear the Hard Hat proudly, Mike !!
